In this tutorial we show you how you can make beautiful key rings from decorative concrete in no time at all.

This is how easy it is to create the pretty pendants

Mix the decorative concrete with water according to the instructions on the product packaging. Stir until a homogeneous mass is formed. Now fill the casting compound into the desired form. Tip: Before pouring, always clean the mould with detergent and water. If bubbles form, you should tap the mould a few times on the base.

The temperature and humidity are decisive for the drying time. However, it is advisable to remove the trailer from the mould the next day. The upper side, i.e. the later back side, can be dried with a fine Sandpaper straightening and smoothing.

Decorate with gloss markers

After you have taken the dried pendant out of the mould, it is individually decorated with shiny markers. For this purpose you can print out and use our motif template. Let the paint dry well. You can use a Décopatch lacquer to seal the pendant. This varnish protects your object

From decorative concrete to individual key rings

Now only is still missing the key rings. Take two jewellery pliers and open a ringlet with their help : With a pair of pliers, hold the ringlet with the gap opening upwards. With the second pair of pliers you open the stripes backwards. The opened stripes can now be easily hooked into the pendant hole. It is then closed again with the help of the two pliers. The key rings are also great as a small gift for friends and relatives.
