Marbling


Marbling is a fascinating option for creative color design for many surfaces. With the marbling colors specially developed for this technique, sheets of paper, book covers, coffee mugs or even terracotta pots can be designed in a marble look.

Surely you know marbling from Easter crafting for the colorful design of Easter eggs. You can also marble many other objects made of wood, plastic, paper; metal, earthenware, terracotta, glass or even Styrofoam:

The paint is simply dripped into a water bath. It spreads on the surface of the water. If an object is now carefully immersed in water, the surface of the object absorbs the color particles in the water and becomes marbled.
