Brandmalerei mit Holz

Erfahren Sie hier alles über die Brandmalerei und der sogenannten Pyrografie. Brandmalerei ist eine traditionelle Kunst zur Verzierung von Holz, Leder oder Kork durch Brandspuren. Bei dieser Technik wird mit einer heißen Brennspitze gemalt oder gestempelt. Mit der Brandmalerei können Sie komplette Bilder oder ganz individuelle Geschenke, wie Frühstücksbrettchen, Namensschilder oder Schmuckkästchen gravieren. Mit etwas Übung und Fingerspitzengefühl entstehen filigrane Schriftzüge und Muster, die aus einem schlichten Holzrohling ein einzigartiges Unikat macht. Die außergewöhnliche Optik wird mit keiner anderen Technik erreicht, als bei der Brandmalerei, gerade aus diesem Grund ist sie so interessant und auch noch heute brandaktuell.

Vorlagen für Brandmalerei

Mit Vorlagen oder eigenen Mustern können vor allem Teller, Brettchen und Dosen aus Holz zu einzigartigen Stücken verziert werden. Lassen Sie sich inspirieren von unseren individuellen Anleitungen: Die Basteltechnik Brandmalerei eignet sich zum Beispiel hervorragend um Bilderrahmen eine persönliche Note zu verleihen. Bevor man mit dem Brandmalen bei seinem Werkstück loslegt, sollte man sich erst mit dem einbrennen vertraut machen. Auf einem Übungsstück kann man am besten testen, ob die Temperatur des Brennstiftes passt, da die Gravur zügig erfolgen muss, da sonst das Material unkontrolliert verbrennt. Die Intensität der Färbung der entstandenen Kontur ist abhängig von der Dauer des Verbleibens der Brandmalspitze auf dem Untergrund des Holzrohlings. Bevor Sie mit dem einbrennen beginnt, können Sie die Holzoberfläche mit Schleifenpapier abschleifen, dadurch werden die losen Holzfasern entfernt. Je feiner die Holzoberfläche ist, desto besser und genauer können Sie im Anschluss darauf arbeiten. Außerdem können Sie Ihre fertig verzierten Holzteile mit einer beliebigen farbigen Holzlasur gestalten. Um die Oberfläche gegen Schmutz und Feuchtigkeit zu schützen, können Sie ihr fertiges Unikat mit mattem Holzlasur-Lack überziehen.
