Instructions No. 544
In the first step, the flowers are gradually evenly distributed on the bottle and glued with silicone glue. At first a big round Stone or a button is put on as flower center, then further stones as petals.
The spaces in between are filled with further mosaic stones, buttons and glass wax beads. The silicone adhesive can be applied directly to Mosaic stones or can be painted onto the bottle with a stirring wood
It isimportant that the silicone glue is wet when the stones are glued on, so it should always be applied to only on small areas and not on the whole bottle. When laying the stones, make sure that they are not placed too tightly, because this makes it easier to grout them afterwards. The joints should therefore be at least 1 mm wide. As soon as the entire surface of the bottle is mosaic, let the silicone glue dry for 24 hours.
Mosaic-Joint Filler is a powder. Stir it into water until a consistency similar to a firm cake dough is achieved. Tip: Use little water at first and add more water later if necessary. In this way you avoid that Joint Filler becomes too thin.
Apply the Joint Filler generously to the entire mosaic with a stirring wood or brush until all the joints are filled to an even height. After approx. 20 minutes, the mixture will have dried slightly. Wipe the mosaic carefully with a damp sponge, washing the sponge out again and again. This way the mass will spread further into the joints and the stones will be cleaned at the same time
Let everything dry for another 24 hours, then wipe the mosaic again with a damp sponge and finally polish it with a soft cloth.
