Encaustic sponge

This Encaustic sponge is a small tool for perfecting the encaustic technique.

An indispensable tool used to dab small flowers or foliage into tree crowns and bushes in finished encaustic pictures. To do this, the painting iron is converted into a heating plate and the necessary wax is melted onto it. By dipping the sponge into the hot wax and immediately dabbing it onto the painting surface, the effects mentioned above are created.
