The Bosch PKP 18 E hot glue gun is ideal for gluing cardboard, tiles, glass, leather, cork and Paper. Also perfect for mStoneetal, wood, plastic and even textiles. The pistol heats up quickly to 200°C and has an adhesive power of 20 g/min. Due to the electronically controlled heating element, the device has a constant working temperature.
The mechanical feed and the extra-long nozzle allow a precise and quick application. Simply perfect for filigree work such as in model making. You can also design fancy cards, scrapbook albums and lanterns with cute accessories that need a special hold. Even repairs of wooden toys are no longer a problem with this hot glue gun.
Glue sticks with a Ø of approx. 11 mm and a length between approx. 4.5 and 20 cm fit into the hot glue gun. A 20 cm long glue stick is already included in the delivery
Tips to use:
Applicable to: The hot glue gun is often used in the hobby and DIY sector. Its field of application is extremely wide: modelling, fixing, repairing, sealing and grouting. Almost anything can be glued to anything with hot glue or hot melt adhesive. Wood, plastic, metal, ceramics, glass, textiles, leather and much more.
Apply with: Hot glue gun.
Preparations: Mount the device stand to the device by hooking the clamp into the two small openings on the tip of the gun. Now you can safely set the unit down to heat up, while working and to cool down. Plug the unit into a power outlet. Place the glue gun on the equipment stand and handle. Push a glue stick through the feed opening into the feed channel and allow the unit to heat up for approximately 7 minutes. The device is now ready for operation. Push another glue stick into the device as soon as the end of the glue stick is visible in the viewing window of the gun. The material to be glued must be clean, dry and free of grease.
Processing of material: Apply the glue in dots to the gluing surface and bring the workpieces together within 15-20 seconds. Apply steady pressure over 30 seconds.
Time to dry: Fast drying.
Work to finish: Allow to cool completely before packing away. Always unplug after use.
This is to be noted: Please read and follow all safety notes and instructions. The hot glue gun heats up during operation, especially in the front area near the nozzle, so that skin contact may cause burns. Do not leave the appliance unattended.
