This table lamp with natural look you can easily create yourself with rattan. Turned on, it spreads a pleasant light through the tinkered lampshade.
You need for this lamp, in addition to the VBS lamp base "Olinda" and the VBS lampshade rectangular a square bar with the dimensions 8 x 8 mm, 1 m length. Also have a hand tacker ready.
Saw 8 pieces of 15 cm length each from the square strip. Glue them to the edges of the lampshade with hot glue.
The rattan weave will be delivered to you as a roll. It is a rigid natural material. Wet it and iron it - covered by an ironing cloth - to a flat sheet. The braid is too rigid to be placed completely around the lampshade. Therefore, cut rattan sheets according to the lampshade: for the large areas, 2 pieces of about 20 x 15 cm, for the small areas, 2 pieces of about 12 x 15 cm.
With the help of a hand stapler, staple the rattan to the square strips. If the rattan now protrudes too far over the edges, shorten it with scissors.
Finally, the finished lampshade can be fixed to the lamp base, screw in the bulb with E14 socket and turn on the lamp!
