Design lamp foil with napkin technique
Cut a piece of lamp foil measuring 26.5 cm (+ 2 cm adhesive edge) x 16.5 cm for the taller wind light. And for the slightly smaller table lamp, cut a piece of foil measuring 24.5 cm (+ 2 cm adhesive edge) x 14 cm.
Remove the bottom unprinted layers of paper from your napkins so that you only have the printed layer in front of you. Coat the lamp foil with napkin varnish and lay your napkin motif as smoothly as possible on the foil. Then use the brush to apply another layer of napkin varnish to the motif. Make sure that everything remains smooth and that there are no bubbles.
As soon as the varnish has dried, stick the table lights together at the adhesive edge using double-sided adhesive tape. It is recommended that you also fix them in four places with staples.
Decorate the top edge of your decorative wind lights with the cork tape, tie a piece of bamboo ribbon around this decorative strip, tie a small decorative bow and finish by attaching a scatter decoration to the bow with glue.
Place an LED tea light in your moulded lantern bases and place your designed lamp foils on top. Now you can place the finished table lanterns in the designated place in your home.
