1. Create the Basic Shape
First, draw a strip on a light brown cardstock that is slightly wider than your cellophane bag. For standard bags, this could be approximately 10 cm. Then mark the sections for the belly (around 12 cm), bottom (about 4 cm, slightly wider than the bag's bottom), back (same width as the belly), and head (about 5 cm, depending on the height of the body).
Round off the corners of the head area. Use a template to ensure symmetry. Then cut everything out.
Score the markings of the bunny's body. A ruler can help you achieve straight edges. Fold the paper over it and crease the score line.
2. Create Details
No Easter bunny is complete without details! Cut out ears from brown cardstock (scraps are often sufficient) that fit the size of the base shape. Place a piece of paper underneath so there is a slight overhang for gluing.
Transfer the ear shape onto pink cardboard, cut them out in a smaller variant, and glue the layers together. Remove any remaining pencil marks.
Draw noses on pink cardstock and teeth on white cardstock, cut them out, and leave space for gluing. Cut whiskers from cotton cord (2-3 pieces are sufficient).
Attach the whiskers with a dab of craft glue, let them dry, and glue the nose over them. Attach the teeth from the back of the head. Use a black marker to add eyes and, if desired, eyebrows - this can also be done with cardstock.
Finally, glue the ears in the middle on the back of the head.
3. Decorate and Fill
To give your bunny the perfect finishing touch, you can decorate it as desired with feet, ribbons, bows, scattered decorations, or shadows with colored pencils.
Fill the cellophane bags with your gifts, roll up the top, and attach it to the upper part of the belly with a stapler.
After that, glue the head directly onto the belly. Double-sided tape makes this process easier.
