Coloured circles made from fibre silk
With the "Circles" punching template, you can make coloured circles in different sizes and colours from fibre floss in no time at all. The stencil is suitable for all conventional hobby punch- & embossing machines.
To design the candle, stick the cut-out circles together with a little handicraft glue. Arrange the circles however you like best! Decorate the circles with a decorative stamp motif to match the occasion.
Designing confirmation cards
Glue the punched-out circles to the card and envelope using handicraft glue. Play with different arrangements to find the best design. Cut a strip of vellum paper and use the stamp to place a message or motif of your choice on the paper.
Fold the strip of tracing paper around the edges of the card and stick it to the inside of the card to hold it in place and create stability. It will give your card an elegant touch.
Decorate the candle
Now place the fiber silk on your pillar candle. To ensure that the fiber silk adheres perfectly to the candle, stretch a piece of baking paper tightly over it and heat it carefully with an embossing dryer.
Caution: As soon as you see that the wax grease on the surface of the candle is liquefying, you should switch off the dryer. A short cooling phase is necessary before you slowly and carefully remove the baking paper. This ensures that the fibrous silk sticks securely to the candle.
