At first glance, this Advent Calendar looks like a picture. Through its different elements this harmonious patchwork design results. The small details such as the traditional bells let you already imagine Christmas. Decorate your wall with this gorgeous calendar, fill it with little gifts and make yourself and others happy.
And it's as simple as that:
Cut out the calendar page around the outer edges of the green border. Carefully cut out the cream-coloured pocket strips. The dotted line is the guide line for the pocket folds. Gently press the seam allowance and pocket pleats by folding the pocket sides inwards so that the image lies on the guide line. In order to Position you can staple it. Sew the patchwork strips along the guide line onto the calendar base. Remember the seam allowance at the edges. Now close the pockets with a seam at the bottom of the pocket. Apply the matching piece of fabric to the back. We recommend placing volume fleece between the layers to give the calendar more fullness and stability. Leave an opening of 2 cm above and below for the bars to hang up. Sew the layers together up to this point. Then join the round rods into the tunnels and close with the Wooden balls. Decorate Advent Calendar with Satin ribbon and Jingles and knot a shiny cord on the upper rod for hanging.
