Step-by-step instructions for a miniature winter landscape
Cutting and attaching the lamp foil
Place each individual wooden piece that has a window on the lamp foil. Carefully outline the shape of the window with a pencil and then cut out the outline with scissors. Make sure that the rough side of the lamp foil is facing outwards when you stick it to the wooden parts. This arrangement helps to effectively distribute the scattered light to achieve the desired lighting effect.
Assembling wooden building kits
Assemble all the wooden building kits according to the instructions and then glue them together. A little tip: Leave the roofs of the four small houses unattached. This way, you can later place an LED light ball inside and make the houses glow from the inside - a beautiful effect that will enchant you in the dark!
Bring colour into play
As soon as everything is dry, you can let your creativity run wild and paint the houses as you wish. Give each colour enough time to dry so that you get a clean and even finish. Use waterproof acrylic paint to ensure a longer durability.
Applying decorative snow
Now spread the decorative snow evenly over the roofs of the houses. Allow the snow to dry well. This step not only adds the delicate charm of a blanket of snow, but also gives your entire scene an authentic winter look.
Build up the landscape
Spread some of the decorative snow on the oak rind board. Place the little houses and fir trees in the way that suits you best. Make sure they are arranged harmoniously to give your winter landscape depth and character.
Finalising and presenting
Already finished! With a little patience and creativity, you have created a sparkling winter wonderland that is sure to turn heads in your home. Don't worry if something isn't perfect - the handmade charm will make your creation unique!
