Needle punching is a light and unique handicraft technique used on loosely woven fabrics. Very well suited for this is monk fabric, a Cotton fabric panama weave. For this ornamental embroidery the fabric is for example Embroidery hoop clamped. This allows the individual stitches to expand and the punch needle moves through the fabric so easily. For ornamental embroidery in 3D look, loops of the desired length are formed by the Punch Needle. After the desired motif has been embroidered, the loop is released Tensioning frame again and the stitches contract and hold the individual loops. For permanent hold, it is recommended to use a Textile glue to be applied to the back.
