Ponal Express wood glue. Quality from Ponal Express. Glue for wood shows high strength after only a short time (approx. 5 minutes). The quick-hardening wood glue has a new, improved bottle, which prevents the bottle tip from sticking together. The wood glue is solvent-free and the ideal material for your wood handicrafts.
Tips to use:
Applicable to: Wood, MDF.
Apply with: Liner vials / Pen, Brush.
Preparations: The substrate should be clean, dry, free from grease and dust. The surfaces to be glued should be properly prepared. Wood rich in ingredients, e.g. teak, should be washed with commercially available solvents, e.g. acetone, if necessary. The wood moisture content should be between 8 and 12%. Higher wood moisture prolongs the setting time.
Processing of material: Apply a thin coat of Ponal Express on one side with a brush or Liner vials . For hardwoods, it is advisable to apply on both sides. Do not allow Ponal to come into contact with tools containing iron (risk of discolouration). After applying the glue, press the parts together with a screw clamp and allow to dry.
Time to dry: At a room temperature of approx. 20°C the open time is max. 5 minutes. Join parts while the glue is still wet.
This is to be noted: Fresh glue can be removed with water
