The knotted hanging light is a decorative highlight in any home. It is equipped with LED tea lights and is a great eye-catcher on the wall. But it also works great as a hanging room divider. You can get all the materials used for this idea in our online store.

Preparation
It is useful to select in advance the place in your home where the pendant lamp will later find its place. Measure the required space and saw the beech round bar to the desired length, at least 45 cm (our decoration example was created with a round bar in 65 cm length). For the neat finish of the round bar, process the sawed-off end with sandpaper.

Knotting
There are several macramé techniques used in this idea. All knots are explained in detail in our basic macramé tutorial. Download best the step-by-step photo instructions from here. Our description is for knotting one light strand at a time.
You will need 10 ribbons of cotton cord, each 3 meters long, for the knotting. Now take each ribbon twice and tie it with the lark's head knot forward to the round bar.

Knot triangle pattern
- Maak nu een "vierkante knoop - naar links gedraaid" in de eerste rij met de linten door.
- Ga verder met deze knoop, waarbij de eerste twee en de laatste twee banden van de 2e rij worden weggelaten.
