Have fun with knotting!
Preparation
Attach the beech round bar to a hanger so that you can comfortably tie knots on it....
.
Knotting
You will need 10 ribbons of cotton cord, each 3 meters long, for the knotting. Now take each ribbon twice and tie it with the lark's head knot forward to the round bar.
Knot triangle pattern
Wooden olives, center knot, tealight holder and decorative fringe...
Now tie the strands together a little further below your knotting with a winding knot (middle knot of the light strand).
After some time, start tying 2 - 3 rows of staggered square knots: Tie them so that they form a trough for a tea light jar, finally tie all the strands together with a winding knot (this is also the fixation for the tea light jar).
Pull the rest of the ribbons apart to form fringes, comb them up if necessary and "style" the ends with scissors.
The second strand of the pendant lamp is created in the same way, but you can vary the height of each strand of light by setting the middle winding knot at different heights.
