Effects that remind you of coloured glass? This is no longer a problem with the KREUL Glass & Porcelain "Clear" colour.
The KREUL Glass & Porcelain "Clear" colour is water-based and consists of at least 60% sustainable raw materials of natural origin. The initially milky colour dries transparent, crystal clear and shiny. The different colours can be combined very well and thinned as desired with Kreul Glass & Porcelain "Colour Thinner". The surface must be clean, free of grease and smooth. This creates very individual watercolour effects and unique objects.
Beautiful and lasting effects can be created on heat-resistant objects made of porcelain, glass, ceramics Terracotta or metal. The glass and porcelain paint can be applied with any Hair brush applied and then dried while lying down for about four hours. To ensure that the work of art is durable, the painting must be baked at approx. 160 °C for approx. 90 minutes. It is important to place the object in the cold oven! Only after the required temperature is reached does the baking time begin. Afterwards the object must cool down in the oven so that the stoving process is completed correctly and the paint becomes waterproof, dishwasher-proof and saliva-proof.
Important! Surfaces that come into contact with food must not be painted, as the paint is not food safe. Useful and eating areas, drinking edges or inner surfaces of glasses and cups, as well as cut surfaces of plates should therefore be left out.
However, the KREUL Glass & Porcelain "Clear" paint is also suitable for non-durable hold, because as long as the paint is not baked on, the painting can easily be removed with water. So you can create temporary designs on acrylic glass, mirrors and many plastics that look like real coloured glass.
Design your own porcelain series or turn your dreary glasses or simple objects into fascinating accents on the table or in the living area
Tips for application:
Applicable to: Heat-resistant objects made of e.g. porcelain, glass, ceramics Terracotta and metal.
Preparations: The substrate must be clean, grease-free and smooth. Cleaning by hand! Do not put it in the dishwasher, so that no beading effect is applied.
Processing: The paint is applied with a soft Hair brush one. It is milky at first, but then dries transparent. Use the KREUL Glass & Porcelain paint thinner to dilute the paint so that the adhesive power is maintained after baking.
Drying time: Objects should be dried for approx. 4 hours (lying down).
Final papers: For baking, place the object in a cold oven. Set the oven to 160 °C. Once this temperature is reached, bake for another 90 minutes. Allow the item to cool in the oven. The item can then be cleaned and used again.
This must be taken into account: Only apply to surfaces that do not come into contact with food. Use and eating areas, drinking edges, the inside of cups or glasses and cut surfaces on plates should not be painted.
