The set KREUL "Glass & Porcelain Pen - Clear" contains the colours Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and Black. The four coloured pens have a line width of approx. 2-4 mm (size Medium), the black pen has a line width of approx. 1-2 mm (size Fine). This transparent water-based colour is also suitable for ceramics and metal. It is shiny and lightfast.
The surface to be painted should have been cleaned from dust and other residues. Then the desired motif is painted onto the surface and afterwards the object must dry for at least four hours. Afterwards it is baked in a non-preheated oven at a temperature of 160 °C. The firing time should not be longer than 30 minutes. Finally, the object must cool down in the oven. This hardens the applied layer and makes it waterproof, dishwasher-proof and weatherproof
The perfect colour for glasses, dishes, lanterns but also for heat-resistant tiles.
Tips to use:
Applicable to: Glass, ceramics, metal, porcelain.
Apply with: Liner vials / pen.
Preparations: Shake the pen well with the cap on for about 1-2 minutes. Gently pump the pen onto a sheet of paper until the paint has run into the dosing tip. The surface must be clean and free of dust and grease.
Processing of material: Simply apply the desired motif or handlettering lettering to the chosen surface with the pen. The paint can be easily wiped off again with water to make any corrections.
Time to dry: 4 hours.
Work to finish: To burn in the paint so that it can no longer be wiped off and is dishwasher safe, place the item in a cold oven. Heat to 160°C and bake the paint for 90 minutes. Turn the oven off again and leave the item to cool in the oven.
This is to be noted: When painting crockery, glasses or cups, leave out the eating area, as the paint is not food-safe after baking.
