Tips to use:
Applicable to: concrete, glass, wood, stretched canvas, ceramics, creative casting compounds (cured), plastic, leather, paper, cardboard / carton, porcelain, terracotta / clay.
Apply with: Pen / marker.
Preparations: Shake the marker well and then pump it a few times onto a solid surface. The gold leaf priming milk runs visibly into the chisel tip.
Processing of material: The gold leaf priming milk flows evenly through the chisel tip. This makes it easy to apply, e.g. as lettering or filigree drawings. At the beginning the gold leaf priming milk has a yellowish shimmer, so that the written words or painted works are still visible for some time. Only after approx. 20 minutes the gold leaf priming milk is transparent dried up. Then simply apply the gold leaf and carefully press it on with a soft, dry brush. Remove any unattached residue with the brush or a soft cloth.
Time to dry: approx. 12 hours.
Work to finish: After Time to dry the gold leaf should be polished again with a soft polishing cloth or cotton wool.
This is to be noted: Gilded decorations still need several days to dry completely. To protect them from corrosion, simply topcoat them afterwards with KREUL Topcoat for leaf metal. If the decorative objects are to be placed outside or if they are made of concrete, plaster, terracotta or clay, we recommend coating the decoration with KREUL zapon lacquer. This will protect them for a long time and keep their golden shine.
