Stretched Canvas von VBS are covered with high-quality white canvas made of 100% cotton. The 380 gsm cloth is already triple primed and has a surface with medium grain. It is hard wearing enough even for rough putty work.

The painting cloth is stapled to the back of the stretcher frame. This also allows the sides of the strips to be integrated into the composition of the picture. Strip thickness: 18 mm.

Stretched Canvas are usually painted with Acrylic paint or with oil paints. They are the ideal painting ground for highly topical mixed media pictures. They cannot be only painted but can also be covered with paper and fabric.
