VBS Creative set "Terracotta oven"
Instructions No. 2682Would you like to heat your home alternatively? Then the homemade tea light stove is just right for you. The cosiness factor is great and it can also be used in smaller rooms. It is ideal as a hand warmer! In our instructions, we explain how you can easily build a tea light stove yourself.
This is how the tea light stove is built:
Remove the adhesive tape. Push the threaded rod through the saucer. Put a washer (on the lower side) on the threaded rod and screw a hexagon nut onto it. This should be flush with the threaded rod.
Now place the saucer with the threaded rod upright in front of you. To ensure that the construction is straight and does not wobble, place it on the second saucer.
The threaded rod must be firmly screwed to the saucer, so add a washer and a hexagon nut from above and tighten them.
To place the clay pots, screw another hexagon nut onto the threaded rod. In our example, we screwed the hexagon nut at a height of about 20 cm.
Place a washer on top of it. Now put the small terracotta pot over the threaded rod. To make sure it sits firmly, place a washer and a hexagon nut on top of it, which must be screwed tight again.
For the second terracotta pot, the hexagon nut is at about 23 cm.
Screw the hexagon nut on first, then the washer, then the pot, a washer and finally screw everything together with the cap nut.
Do not put too many tea lights in your stove. Leave at least 5 cm between the tea lights. There is a possibility that a wax fire will occur otherwise, which can be very dangerous.
Always place the stove on a smooth, stable, not easily combustible surface and keep it out of reach of children and animals.
