This is how you design the chicks:
1. Start by painting the terracotta pots with the color buttercup . You also paint the polystyrene balls.
To keep your hands clean, you can stick a bamboo skewer into the polystyrene balls before painting.
It is best to apply several coats of the paint so that it covers well. The individual layers of paint should always be completely dry before applying another one.
2. Now glue the chick's head onto the terracotta-pot. Then insert the beak and glue on the eyes. You can get creative here: Paint with a fineliners in addition to eyebrows and eyelashes, paint on smiling and winking eyes, for example!
3. To glue on the feet, shorten the legs to a few millimetres. Apply a drop of handicraft glue to the feet and attach them to the inside of the terracotta-pot.
4. Then glue on the pompom sleeves and put a straw hat on three of the chicks. Fix them to the heads with handicraft glue and leave the glue to dry for a sufficient amount of time.
5. Finally, glue on the colorful bows as desired - and your cute chicks are ready!
