TexWax Impregnating Fluid

TexWax, impregnating fluid, 250 ml - coating for all kinds of textiles!

With this food-safe wax emulsion you can coat textiles which are then dirt-repellent and wipeable. Here you have a variety of possible uses. The fluid is elastic, water-based and food safe. The melting point is 65 °C. A processing instruction is enclosed with the product.

With the different application techniques, the treated fabrics show different qualities after treatment. Either water-repellent, i.e. hydrophobic, or microporous and therefore breathable.

The TexWax is applied with a brush or sponge and dried. This way a wax-like protective film is formed which makes the textiles dirt-repellent. Fabric parts with this treatment can be wiped off with a damp cloth.

Through a heat treatment after application with a hot air gun or iron, TexWax draws into the fibres and transforms the material into a reusable and breathable film. It can be shaped by hand and put over a container, for example. A special kind of cling film.
