The motto of the new Marabu YONO acrylic marker is - YOU ONLY NEED ONE
... and the name says it all, because it is the only one you need to paint, write and design on almost any surface. The YONO has a high-quality Japanese bullet tip with a line width of 1.5- 3 mm. The colours are lightfast, brilliant and water-based. They dry matt and opaque. The Marabu YONO marker-Set "METALLIC" contains four marker in the following colours: Rosé-gold, gold, silver and black.
The YONO acrylic markers are permanent marker, if the colours are applied to absorbent surfaces. On non-absorbent surfaces, on the other hand, the acrylic paint can simply be wiped off again with a damp cloth to create new space for creativity. For better durability of the colors or outdoors, items should be overpainted with a selected clear varnish . Artwork on textiles should be fixed in the oven at 150°C for 8 minutes for lasting hold. Use the YONO MARKER for a variety of techniques, because as the name says YOU ONLY NEED ONE:
PAINT OVER:
1. Paint your motif, no matter what color.
2. Let the paint dry.
3. Just paint over it, no matter what color. Your YONO will cover it.
LIKE WATERCOLOUR:
1. Fill the marker tip full of paint.
2. Apply the paint to the background.
3. Blend the colors with a wet brush to create watercolor gradients.
BLEND IT / MIX IT:
1. Apply several colors next to each other.
2. Take a brush or sponge and blend the wet colors together.
3. Or paint the colors directly into each other to create shades.
MAKE BLOBS:
1. Fill the marker tip full of color.
2. Blow hard against the tip or flick your finger against the marker.
3. Add randomness and dynamism to your work with splashes and blobs.
Tips to use:
Applicable to: Almost all surfaces.
Apply with: Pen / marker.
Preparations: Before first use, shake the marker with the cap closed for 60 seconds until the mixing ball makes a distinct clacking sound. Slowly press (pump) the tip several times on a piece of test paper until ink is visible in the tip. When the ink flow is activated, the tip will slowly fill up. To test, the marker should be written on the test paper. Processing of material: The marker can be used for a variety of techniques. To ensure an even and consistent ink application, pump regularly.
Time to dry: Varies depending on the substrate/application.
Work to finish: For longer lasting colours, overcoat artwork with clear varnish. Set fabrics in the oven at 150 °C for 8 minutes.
This is to be noted: Before putting the marker away, close it with the cap with a clearly audible click. For long and perfect painting fun, the marker should always be stored horizontally.
