Description
The Marabu KiDS T-shirt paint is a brilliant and bright fabric paint that is ideal for designing bright fabrics. It is especially suitable for children and can be easily applied to T-shirts, shorts and other textiles with a brush.
With the viscous paint, stencils can also be easily painted and the shades are easy to mix. For best results, only dry, finish and fabric softener-free textiles with a maximum of 20% synthetic fiber content should be painted. After drying, iron the fabric from the front through a thin cloth at cotton temperature for 3 min. (without steam) or fix in the oven for 8 min. at 150 °C. After that the color is washable up to 60 °C. With masking tape or self-cut paper stencils, beautiful patterns and motifs can be easily applied to the textile.
Marabu KiDS T-Shirt paint contains 12 pieces in 36 ml bottles (rosé beige, yellow, orange, red, pink, light blue, blue, green, brown, white, black).
With this paint, children can give free rein to their creativity and conjure up great works of art on textiles.
Tips to use:
Applicable to: On light-colored textiles up to a synthetic fiber content of 20%.
Apply with: Sponge, dab brush, paintbrush, roller.
Preparations: Before painting, wash the shirt without fabric softener to remove the finish. Allow the shirt to dry and iron. If needed, prepare a template and print it out. Slip a piece of cardboard and the template between the T-shirt. Then secure the shirt with clothespins to keep the template and fabric tight. Cover the work area and put on a painting smock if needed. Prepare the paints and working materials. The template shines through under light-colored textiles and can be easily repainted with a brush.
Processing of material: Color the motif with the individual KiDS T-shirt shades. Afterwards, allow the colors to dry well.
Work to finish: Detach the shirt from the cardboard and fix the colors. Iron the fabric from the front through a thin cloth at cotton temperature for 3 min. (without steam) or fix it in the oven for 8 min. at 150 °C. After that, the shirt is washable up to 60 °C.
Good to know: When designing, wear discarded clothing or a painting smock, because unwelcome stains are very difficult to remove.
