When spring calls, flowers and colourful decorations are needed again. There is always a place for these small mini vases made of light bulbs. They can be hung up, but are also suitable for standing on.
To give the vases their rusty look, remove the frame and spray them completely with the effect spray. It is best to do this outside and wear gloves.

If you do not have the opportunity to work outdoors, make sure there is sufficient ventilation and protect your surroundings from spray mist.
Cut a piece of the jute cord and attach it to the top of the bulb. You can choose the length as you like - depending on where you want to use the vases.

Then wrap the screw socket with the cord as well. Tape one end and then wrap the cord around it until the glass is hidden and you have reached your desired thickness. You should fix the cord with hot glue every now and then. Also fix the end of the cord.
Finally, you can decorate the vases. Either with artificial flowers for a long-lasting and weatherproof decoration or with fresh flowers. But don't forget the water!

If you also use artificial flowers, you can fix them with hot glue. This is especially recommended for outdoor use to prevent the flowers from blowing away.
