Preparation
For the sewing of the fragrance bags you need only little sewing skills. Per fragrance bag you need two pieces of fabric à approx. 18 x 25 cm. The seam allowance is already included.
Before sewing, it makes sense to decorate the piece of fabric that will later form the front of the sachet with sewn-on ribbons or an embroidery motif.
The sand-colored bag in our decoration example was sewn on with a simple straight stitch with the machine.

Embroidery
The lilac bag is embroidered with a lavender motif. Trace the lavender flowers onto the fabric with a Stroke Ex pen. The lilac ink on this pen will fade after a while, but will be visible long enough to use as an embroidery guide.
Stitch the lavender stems on with a back stitch. To do this, poke the needle into the last embroidery stitch each time, creating a straight embroidery seam on the front.
The lavender grapes are embroidered with the winding stitch. Here, the embroidery needle is passed in and out of the fabric, but not all the way through. The embroidery thread is wound over the tip of the needle several times, and only then is the needle pulled completely through. This creates the typical wrapped look, which looks like a bunch of grapes.
Sew a small satin bow to the embroidered bouquet for a special look.

Place the pieces of fabric on top of each other with right sides together and hand or machine sew the three sides together. Smooth out the seams with scissors.

Turn the little bags, decorate the edges of the fabric at the opening with pinking shears and fill everything, for example, with pleasant smelling and soothing pine wood chips or alternatively with lavender.
