The fabulous casting mould "Crowns" is made of sturdy plastic and the motifs have a size of approx. 13 x 12 x 2 cm and approx. 6.5 x 7 x 2 cm with a total capacity of approx. 180 ml. Best for various creative casting compounds such as raysin, soap, creative concrete and even decorative concrete and sidewalk chalk.
The crowns can be decorated according to your own ideas and are a great eye-catcher as a stand for table design, wall decoration, in the entrance area in planted pots or in fairy-tale creative worlds. The crowns become especially dreamy with craft paints, glitter, Inca colors and fonts in handlettering design. Matching ribbon bows, sprinkles and napkins also make great accessories.
Helpful tip: Coat the molds with a little oil before use (depending on the casting compound used) and then do not pour completely so that the castings can be easily removed.
Tips to use:
Preparations:
Mix the desired casting compound according to the instructions. If you wish, you can color it with color pigment powder.
Application:
Slowly pour the mixed casting compound into the casting mould. Leave a rim of at least 2 mm free to make it easier to demould your casting later.
Gently tap the casting mould so that the mixture is evenly distributed and any air bubbles come to the surface. You can then prick these with a lace object.
Time to dry:
Allow the casting compound to harden well. Follow the drying times specified in the instructions for the casting compound.
Work to finish:
You can now demould your casting. If the casting does not come off simply by dropping it, you can carefully loosen the mould all around with your fingers and tap it against the mould.
Good to know:
For detailed moulds, we recommend using a mould release agent or release wax to protect the mould.
