There is nothing better than sitting at the table with loved ones, talking to each other and eating something delicious. And when the table is beautifully decorated, it's especially nice. Our idea of placemats is easy to copy, they are practical and beautiful to look at.
This is how the placemat is made:
Cut a rectangle of 15 x 10 cm for the cutlery pocket and a strip of 8 x 3 cm for the tag from the Texipap for each place setting. Punch out a star from the strip with the motif punch.
Sew the cutlery bag and tag onto the felt with a contrasting coloured thread using a zigzag stitch.
Attach the punched out star to the cutlery bag with craft glue.
Now you can add lettering as you wish. This is best done with Posca markers.
Beautiful details make the placemat special and of high quality.
