These little gnomes are trudging through the deep snow. To protect themselves from the cold, the gnomes are dressed in thick hats and scarves.
A cute craft idea for the winter time. Make the little winter gnomes together with children and decorate your house with them.
Winter gnomes from cardboard rolls
First paint the cardboard rolls with craft colours. We used different shades of red. Let the paint dry.
Also colour the styrofoam eggs with craft paint. These will later be the heads of the gnomes.
Cut off a piece of the knitted tube, turn one end upside down to form the brim of the hat and attach it to the heads with craft glue. Close the end of the knitted tube with a perlon thread. Attach golden bells as desired.
Cut strips of craft felt in the thickness you want the scarf to be, use scissors to cut fringes on both sides and wrap it around the gnomes' necks as a scarf.
