Our self-made christmas crib is puristically beautiful and is a highlight for young and old. With the handicraft blocks, the stand for the christmas crib can be created entirely according to your own ideas. The christmas crib and the accompanying people and animals are self-cast and can be kept plain white or coloured and decorated as desired.
This is how you create the manger scene:
Mix the raisin powder with water according to the instructions to make a creamy mixture. Then pour the mixture into the moulds. You can usually remove the moulds after about 30 minutes. Let them air dry for another 45 minutes.
In the meantime, you can glue the wooden blocks together as you wish using handicraft glue. If necessary, you can also saw the wooden blocks shorter. In our example, we shortened the two blocks for the wall.
Finally, glue the dried castings to the wooden block plate with hot glue. If desired, the castings can also be coloured. Line the area for the animals with some wood wool.
