Miniature door on stretcher frame
Anleitung No. 2846You want to put a beautiful façade with a door on a stretcher frame? A work of art that is not difficult at all. We explain how to paint and design this great picture. With additional shingles it becomes eye-catching and looks realistic.
This is how you design the stretcher:
Mark the plinth height, façade and roof. Paint the plinth grey and add shading.
Brickwork: First, prime the entire surface in Lichter Ocker (craft paint) lightened with white and let it dry.
Then lightly mix the craft colours Light Ochre, Burnt Sienna and a little Burnt Umber in the mixing palette and paint on the individual wall stones with a flat brush (leaving "gaps" free). In the next step, paint a narrow shadow on the bottom and right side of each brick with a fine brush in burnt umber. Finally, add fine light reflections on the top and left side with very light ochre. This creates a three-dimensional 3D effect. This look is further enhanced by gluing on miniature bricks.
Paint curtains and a vase in the window opening.
Glue on the roof shingles with the mosaic glue.
Paint the door, letterbox and window with craft paints, let dry and glue on with mosaic glue.
Cover the sides of the stairs with wooden sticks and then paint the stairs and the fence completely with wood stain. Glue both, as well as the terracotta pots, to the stretcher with mosaic glue.
Decorate with artificial plants.
