Macramé is in and you can tie beautiful accessories with the knot art. Here we show you how to knot a great bag. You can use it wonderfully to transport things or to give bottles as gifts. All you need is a cord and a bit of skill - get started right away.
This is how the macramé bag is created:
Cut 8 strings of 1.80m each from the cotton cord. Put the rest of the cord to the side for the end. Take the cords together to find the middle. Tie a knot approx. 10 cm in front of the middle. Now braid the cords about 20 long. Then tie a knot again. Place the braid in front of you so that all the ends of the braid are facing you. The handle is now bent.
Put all the strings together in pairs. Now take two strings from the right side and two from the left side. Lay them next to each other. Now make a square knot. To do this, take the left outer thread, place it over the third and under the fourth thread. Now take the right outer thread and place it under the second and over the third. Tighten the square knot. Leave about 6 cm of space from one knot to the other.
Square knot:
Put all the strings together in pairs. Now take two strings from the right side and two from the left side. Lay them next to each other. Now make a square knot. To do this, take the left outer thread, place it over the third and under the fourth thread. Now take the right outer thread and place it under the second and over the third. Tighten the square knot. Leave about 6 cm of space from one knot to the other.
Square knot:
Now take the next four ribbons and repeat the process until you are "once around". For the next row, take two ribbons from each knot and knot them together again. Repeat this process until you have "5 rows".
Finally, take all the ribbons together.
Now take the thread you set aside to make a winding knot: Put the thread double on top of the others. Now wrap this tightly and tightly around the entire strings. Finally, pull the thread through the previously made loop. Now pull the short end of the thread, this will pull the other end under the wrap. Cut the ribbons under the wrap to a length of approx. 8 cm and unwind them to create a beautiful pom-pom.
