Enhance your terrace, garden or balcony with this chic herb hanging basket made from clay pots. It's easy to make and you don't need a lot of materials. A great idea for the coming summer.
This is how it works:
1. Wrap jute cords around 3 wooden rings with a diameter of 100 mm. These can be attached to the wooden ring with double-sided adhesive tape.
2. Cut 12x approx. 1 m long ribbons from the Cotton Cord Skinny.
3. Take 3 ribbons together and tie a loose knot at approx. 10 cm.
4. Weave the 3 ribbons together underneath the knot, after approx. 15 cm weave in a wooden ring, after another 15 cm weave in the next ring and so on. After the last ring, also weave 15 cm. Proceed in the same way with the other bundles of ribbons. Make sure that the ribbons are equally spaced so that the herb hanging basket hangs stably.
5. To hang it up, place the topmost ribbons around a small wooden ring and wrap an approx. 20 cm long ribbon around the ends with a winding knot.
6. Tie the ribbons under the last ring also with a winding knot and untwist the threads underneath.
7. Add plants or herbs to the pots and hang them in the rings.
8. Finally, hang the herb hanging baskets from the small ring at the top.
