The smooth leatherFIMO effect Modelling clayis a normal block with a weight of approx. 57 g. By dividing the mass into eight equally sized portions, it is easier to process. This mass can be used to make jewellery and decorative objects.
The mass can be modelled into any shape. It must then be cured at 130 °C in a preheated oven for 30 minutes. Please make sure that the oven is covered with baking paper or aluminium foil. In addition, the temperature should be checked in between. Afterwards, the workpiece should cool down well before it can be further processed. Once this process is completed, the shape will have a leather-like appearance
Now it can be used with Handicraft paint, Acrylic paint or oil paint. Holes for chains can also be drilled with a hand drill. If, for example, the workpiece should break in this case, it can be reassembled with a two-component adhesive. If very thin objects were produced, they can be cut and sewn due to their flexibility
