These fir trees are a hit. They are easy to felt yourself and are a lot of fun to make. Illuminated with a string of lights, they bring a beautiful atmosphere into your four walls. You can decorate the firs beautifully on a table, dresser or your windowsill and of course arrange them with other winter accessories.
Felt the firs as follows:
Start by felting the tip of the fir tree on the felt mat. Then felt the tip onto the cone. Completely cover the Styrofoam cone with fairy wool and felt it firmly. Repeatedly prick the wool with the felting needle to join it to the cone. If necessary, the styrofoam cone can also be shortened with a cutter knife.
Cut the round stick to the desired length and insert it into the wooden disc, if necessary fix it with VBS craft glue. Then paint with wood stain and leave to dry. Wind a string of lights around the fir tree. Glue the battery compartment under the cone with hot glue. You can carefully felt some fairy tale wool over the fairy lights if necessary. Please do not damage the cables in the process.
Press the polystyrene cones onto the round bars. Paint the stars and stick them to the fir trees with hot glue. Knot the bells to the tops with perlon tape.
