This playful little decorative tree with pretty butterflies and cute birdhouses is sure to find a special place in your home. It's easy to make with the right materials.
First design the tree craft blanks
In the first step, paint the polystyrene ball with pastel olive green craft paint. Colour the two small birdhouses as desired.
Glue the leaf garland around the ball with hot glue so that it is well covered.
Fill the zinc pot with flower arrangement foam.
Use a birch branch as a tree trunk and plough it into the polystyrene ball first. Then fix the other end of the branch vertically into the flower arrangement foam.
Enjoy arranging and decorating
Glue the two birdhouses to the tree. Gradually attach small and large butterflies to the ball and the birdhouses and wrap everything in another garland of leaves.
Place moss on the flower arrangement foam so that it is no longer visible. Use a little glue to fix it in place here too. Finally, add a tied bow to the decoration.
Recommandation: If you are still looking for that "certain something" when arranging, simply scatter some leftover butterflies next to the pot. In our example we placed the butterfly tree in the photo on a colourfully painted VBS wooden tray for a special look.
