You can make beautiful animals out of clay pots. This is an excellent pastime for your children. For children it is an outstanding training of their motor skills and encouragement of their creativity. And it creates great animals that can still be planted and decorate your windowsill and garden.
This is how the cute animals are made:
Paint the terracotta pots and saucers with craft paint. Glue two terracotta pots bottom to bottom on top of each other with Uhu Max Repair glue. Glue them into a saucer. Allow to dry thoroughly. Draw the outlines of the eyes, pupils, nose and mouth with the fineliner.
Print out the templates, cut them out and transfer them to the felt or foam rubber with a pencil and cut them out. Stick them to the pot.
For the elephant, paint five small pots with the grey craft paint. Glue three together and stick them to the head as trunks.
Use the bamboo skewer to place three small dots on the edge of two pots and glue them to the saucer as feet.
