Noble like a designer decoration and yet self-made: The colourful butterflies under the large glass dome seem so alive, as if they wanted to fly off immediately. Find out how you can recreate the spring-like idea at home here.
And it's that easy:
1. The big Polystyrene ball with a long knife and stick it with hot glue slightly offset to the middle of the cake plate.
2. Cut some material from the small ball to get a better adhesive surface, then glue it diagonally offset on the big ball with hot glue. Prime both balls with a mixture of white and turquoise and allow to dry.
3. Cover the plugging compound with Iceland Moss and fix it with strawflower needles
4. A little decoration-Willow from Remove the bundle and fix it spirally around it. Now cut the wires of the butterflies to the desired length and put them spirally from bottom to top into the two balls.
Important: Make sure that the glass cover still fits over the arrangement without pressing the butterflies.
