The Rico Design Essentials Organic Cotton aran Yarn has a running length of approx. 90 m and a weight of approx. 50 g. For the 6-thread Yarn a needle in the strength 4 - 5 is recommended.
The Yarn, made of 100% organic cotton, is environmentally friendly and can be processed wonderfully. Not only for knitting individual garments, but also ideal for home accessories such as pillowcases.
You need about 550 g of the plain yarn for a sweater in size 40.
The garment cannot be treated with bleach, i.e. it should only be washed with colour and mild detergent. 
Iron moderately hot, i.e. up to 150 °C maximum. 
The garment may be cleaned with perchloroethylene, hydrocarbon, R113 and R11 solutions.
